Fallout Officially Reveals New Christmas Release Available Now

Fallout fans have the chance to start celebrating Christmas in the Wasteland early this year with an unexpected holiday-themed release.

Bethesda Gear has officially unveiled the new Fallout: The Official Advent Calendar. Currently available via the official Bethesda Gear online storefront for just $40, the Fallout: The Official Advent Calendar includes more than two dozen ornaments inspired by the franchise's most iconic characters.

The New Fallout Advent Calendar Is Every Fan's Holiday Decor Wish Come True

The official product description reads, "Initiate the countdown to Christmas with your favorite vault dweller! In this nuclear countdown calendar based on the Fallout video game series, each day is a blast as you decorate a one-of-a-kind pop-up tree with ornaments showcasing your favorite characters, such as Nick Valentine, Raul Tejada, Codsworth, Dogmeat, and so many more! Also included is an awesome Fallout gift for the holidays: an exclusive ornament to hang on your own holiday tree to show off to all your fellow vault dwellers."

Fallout: The Official Advent Calendar is just the latest recent addition to the Bethesda Gear lineup of Fallout merchandise that is perfect for the holidays. In early October, Bethesda Gear released the Overseer's Edition Fallout Pip-Boy 3000 MK V, a limited-edition wearable collectible ripped right out of Prime Video's hit Fallout streaming series. Modeled after the Pip-Boy worn by Kyle MacLachlan's Hank in Fallout Season 2, the Overseer's Edition Fallout Pip-Boy 3000 MK V also includes a Brain Implant Chip self-assembly kit.

What the Future Looks Like for Fallout

While fans can hardly wait to see Fallout return to Prime Video for Season 3, they will have to wait at least another year before that happens. Last month, Fallout star and Hollywood icon Kyle MacLachlan confirmed that Season 3 was still filming. That being the case, it is unlikely that audiences will get to see Fallout Season 3 until the back half of 2027 at the earliest.

As far as what fans can expect from Fallout Season 3, there haven't been many details revealed just yet, although Season 2 left off with a dour view of things to come. In the Season 2 finale, the New California Republic army arrived in New Vegas just in time to help liberate the city and its inhabitants. Unfortunately for them, the recently reformed Caesar's Legion are headed straight for New Vegas in a bid to conquer the city and claim it as their own, setting up what is sure to be an explosive start to Prime Video's breakout live-action video game adaptation.

Apart from new confrontations, Fallout Season 3 will mark the debuts of several new stars for the series. Among the incoming cast members for Fallout Season 3 are Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul, Manny Jacinto, Emily Mortimer, and Thomasin McKenzie. Season 2 guest stars Annabel O'Hagan and Dave Register will also have expanded roles when Fallout returns, with both actors being bumped up to series regulars for Season 3.
