LIGHTCON Co., Ltd. has announced its latest idle RPG, Wind Runner Go!, which is now open for pre-registration on mobile in Japan. The game is the latest entry in the popular Wind Runner series and was soft-launched in South Korea and Taiwan this July under the name Gale Knights.
You can soon engage in some hack-and-slash battles across multiple stages
So, Wind Runner Go! blends the convenience of idle progression with more active hack-and-slash combat. Here, you’ll push through a long series of stages, upgrade your heroes and gear, and face stronger enemies as you go, while your team continues making progress even when you’re away from the game.
The combat also gives you plenty to do when you’re actively playing, with fast-paced battles, powerful finishing moves, and boss encounters that put your team to the test. You can also collect different heroes, build teams around their strengths, and improve their abilities and equipment to keep moving through tougher stages. You’ll also meet Pico, who shows up with gold and loot.
And when you want a break from fighting, the game offers a more relaxed side through its island customization features. You can even decorate your own island, spend time with cute companions, collect mounts, and more. So, with afk progression, hero collection, endless stages, gear upgrades, and hack-and-slash gameplay, the game actually looks worth looking out for.
Wind Runner Go! is now open for pre-registration on mobile in Japan. So, you can pre-register via the App Store. And if you’re from South Korea or Taiwan, download it via the Google Play Store or App Store.
