A better gaming setup doesn’t have to start with a new graphics card. These five Amazon deals cover the things used every session, from a compact mechanical keyboard to a $51.50 wireless Razer headset. All prices except the Logitech keyboard’s require Prime membership.
Razer BlackShark V2 Pro for PlayStation – $51.50 (47% off)
The PlayStation branding is easy to misread here: this BlackShark V2 Pro also works with a PC. I’d put it first for anyone retiring a basic wired headset, especially at just over $50. The catch is software. This edition doesn’t support Razer Synapse, so PC players who rely on that app should know what they’re giving up before buying.
Buy at amazonLogitech G413 TKL SE – $46.50 (42% off)
The G413 TKL SE covers the basics for less than $50. Its tactile switches give each press a noticeable bump, and removing the numpad frees up mouse space while leaving the arrow keys intact. White backlighting keeps things simple. For anyone weighing layouts and switch types, our keyboard buying guide explains the choices before committing to a mechanical board.
Buy at amazonLogitech G309 Lightspeed – $42.73 (53% off)
Use the G309’s Lightspeed receiver for games and Bluetooth for a second device, and it can pull double duty across a gaming PC and work laptop. A replaceable AA battery saves another charging cable. At 86 grams with the battery, though, it isn’t an ultralight mouse. Our gaming mouse buying guide can help narrow down what suits.
Buy at amazonAsus ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless – $122.55 (32% off)
Some of us still need a numpad, even if it mostly earns its keep in spreadsheets. The Scope II 96 Wireless fits one into a compact layout that leaves more desk space than a conventional full-size board. This costs considerably more than the Logitech keyboard, but adds wireless connectivity and hot-swappable switches, so trying a different typing feel won’t require replacing the keyboard.
Buy at amazonHyperX Cloud III S Wireless – $113.99 (37% off)
The cheaper Razer will be enough for plenty of players, but the Cloud III S Wireless earns its place with longer rated battery life and a useful microphone arrangement. Remove the boom mic and its built-in microphones can still handle phone calls over Bluetooth. That flexibility gives it a role away from the gaming desk, which helps justify spending more.

Electronic Arts is shutting down BioWare after more than three decades, bringing the curtain down on the studio behind Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldur’s Gate, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. EA also canceled the next Mass Effect in early development, and the closure is part of a wider restructuring that will reportedly eliminate around 400 jobs across EA.
Roughly 50 of those positions are reportedly at BioWare, and EA is also closing the studio’s Edmonton workspace. BioWare confirmed the news in its own farewell message, thanking the developers and players who helped build its games over the past 30 years.

Putting an active cooling fan inside a gaming smartphone is not a revolutionary idea. Red Magic phones have done this for a while, but Honor apparently thinks a single fan isn't enough to cool the demanding Qualcomm flagship chip, so it included two in its new Win 2 gaming smartphone.
The Chinese company unveiled the device alongside the Honor Win RT2 and Win Turbo2, both of which come with a ridiculous 12,070mAh battery.

Microsoft has spent years treating Game Pass as the centerpiece of Xbox, but the subscription service has become something of a problem for the company. Subscriber growth has fallen far short of internal expectations, while putting expensive first-party games on the service from day one has reportedly hurt the full-price sales Microsoft still relies on.
According to Fortune, Sharma is planning a major Game Pass overhaul that would let players choose some features à la carte, including add-ons for console-only games, cloud gaming, and multiplayer, while keeping a tiered subscription structure.
