PC gamers looking for something new to play this weekend, without paying out of pocket for it, need look no further than the latest Steam Free Weekend promotion. Right now, Steam's Free Weekend Promotion is letting players check out two big games completely free of charge until November 9 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET. Gamers should be sure to dive in and enjoy them before they expire and are removed from the promotion.

For those unfamiliar, Steam's Free Weekend promotion turns paid games into free-to-play games within a specific timeframe, with the current offering being available now until November 9. Players have as much access as they could want until that point in time, but they'll need to purchase the game to keep playing beyond that point. As unfortunate as it would be to lose access to a game someone is really enjoying, it's worth highlighting that these games have a discount should someone choose to completely pick it up.

Payday 3 is a co-op first-person shooter where players team up to pull off bank robberies and other major heists.
