Dave the Diver is getting free GUILTY GEAR -Strive- themed DLC, and it’s available right now on most platforms.

A GUILTY GEAR -Strive- themed DLC is now available in Dave the Diver on Xbox Series, PlayStation, and PC via Steam and Xbox on PC. It will be coming ‘soon’ to the Nintendo Switch versions of the game.

The DLC’s main new feature is a rhythm game. In it you will hit buttons along to the ‘The Disaster of Passion’ track from -Strive-. Bancho sees new guests coming to the Sushi bar at night, as well as some new decor to spruce the place in a rock ‘n roll style.

I’ve reviewed both the base game and the DLC, In the Jungle. Both are incredible, creating one massive game that hits a dozen or more genres.

Dave the Diver is an excellent, enormous title that is best left as vague as possible. Go in without looking too deeply into it and be ready for dozens of hours of some of the best that video gaming has to offer.

Dave the Diver – In the Jungle is a follow-up expansion for the incredible base game. Priced at only $10, if you’ve beaten Dave the Diver, expect a solid 10 to 30 hours of fresh, excellent content.

Dave and the team are heading to a jungle near the ‘Blue Hole’ location from the main campaign. Fresh minigames, including target shooting, turn-based RPG combat, a new restaurant, and more await as you attempt to befriend the people native to the land.

It is as good as the base campaign — maybe even better in some ways.
