Black Desert opens Inner Edania on console, integrates life skill gear on PC

It’s not every time that the console version of Black Desert gets top billing in our weekly look at recent additions, but this week it indeed does, as the sandbox MMORPG has added all of the goodies of Edania Part 2 for players on their console platform of choice.

Just like their PC brethren, this update opens up the region of Inner Edania, with all of the questing, monster zones, bosses, weekly PvP fights, and of course, the sweet sweet loot including new accessories. The update has also brought the Godslayer’s Armor cosmetic, new magic crystals, item updates, and a new maximum character level of 70, among many other additions. It’s a pretty beefy update is what we’re saying.

For PC players, this week’s update is mostly about life skills with all life skill gear now available account-wide to all characters. This naturally includes some related UI updates, changes to certain items and their effects, and tweaks to various lifestone combinations as a result of them either being overpowered or redundant. The patch has also made some more class tweaks, kicked off new events, and adds new items including an Evergreen Orb that replaces the Dawn Crystal and items that extract functional effects on costumes to apply them on other cosmetics.

Finally over on Black Desert Mobile, an account-wide sigil chest has been added as well as related UI updates to make managing skill sigils more convenient across characters, alongside its own lineup of class balance adjustments, increased bounty mission rewards, and a host of changes to several instances.
