Astrocade is launching a $100,000 creator competition, challenging 25 creators to produce viral playable content, with the entire prize going to whoever attracts the most plays.

Selected creators will spend three weeks over this holiday period developing interactive experiences using Astrocade’s AI-powered creation tools.

Unlike traditional game development, Astrocade allows users to create playable content simply by describing their ideas in natural language, meaning no coding or game development experience is required.

The platform is looking for creators who understand what makes content go viral, whether that’s memes, pranks, inside jokes, or everyday moments turned into interactive experiences.

How Astrocade’s $100K creator competition works

Applications for the competition are open from November 5 until November 20, with 25 creators selected to compete for the $100,000 prize.

Each participant will have three weeks, from November 30 to December 20, to create content on the platform. They can submit multiple games too, with the winner determined by the total number of plays across all their published content during the competition.

And the winner-take-all format means one creator will walk away with the full $100,000.

Astrocade’s approach is designed to put creators on an equal footing, with everyone using the same AI creation tools. Rather than technical ability, the competition focuses on creativity and understanding of what people really want to play.

What is Astrocade?

The platform works similarly to a social media feed, but replaces posts, videos, and images with interactive experiences that you can play instantly.

Creators can also earn money from their content outside the competition through Astrocade’s existing play-based monetization program, meaning successful creations could continue generating revenue after the contest ends.

The announcement comes as Astrocade reports significant growth: According to figures shared by the company, they reached 10 million monthly active players in August 2026, doubling its audience in just four months.
